It is time to right the wrongs of our system and provide reparations to our black students. We have a chance to lead by example of what compassion, true compassion, looks like. We must go beyond acknowledging the systemic disparities and move forward with repairing the damage in an intentional and meaningful way.

I oppose the expansion of the charter school as it would negatively effect students enrolled in OUSD schools.
