15-0913 Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Julia DeGuzman, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide additional 400 hours of service to do a number of tasks that will serve to increase the parent and community involvement, as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Oakland High School, for the period July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in an additional amount not to exceed $10,000.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $10,000.00 to $20,000.00. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.

15-0953 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Norman Bailiff, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide the following services: (1) advise the principal about the management of the school's financial resources in a way that supports the achievement of its instructional goals, (2) advise the principal about alternative solutions to the difficult managerial issues that she confronts in administering the school, (3) inform the principal about a wide range of District policies and procedures pertinent to the decisions she must make, and (4) at the principal's request, take the lead in planning and carrying out complex projects that require extensive knowledge of a number of specialized areas like computer technology, the effective use of space in Linked Learning classrooms, and appropriate sources of extramural funding (including donations and grants), at McClymonds High School, for the period of July 14, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $38,580.00.
