15-1982 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Sound Supports, Shoreline, WA, for the latter to provide training and technical assistance in support of implementation for up to 25 school sites participating in the School Climate Transformation Grant, including the following activities: professional development trainings, site-based consultation and support to principals and PBIS teams, training and support for all PBIS coaches and Behavioral Health staff supporting implementation, and Professional Development with district leadership to build capacity to sustain implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support beyond the grant period; provide the outcome evaluation for grant to determine the impact of implementing PBIS to transform school climate and culture and improve the conditions for learning for African American students who have historically been excluded from instruction at higher rates than their peers; total cost for training, TA, and evaluation as outlined in the grant proposal, for the Behavioral Health Services Unit of the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of October 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $47,000.00.
