15-0256 Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 2 of the Professional Services Contract between the District and Reuben Roberts, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide direct on-site services for the Restorative Justice (RJ) Program, by program collaborating with site staff to identify and recruit 5-10 peer RJ youth leaders(11-14 years old) that reflect the racial , ethnic, and academic diversity of the school; organize, create, and design training materials that teach conflict resolution, effective communication, problem solving, and restorative practices, and expect to share them with other Peer RJ coordinators and provide other services, as delineated in the Scope of Work, at Elmhurst Community Preparatory School, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of August 25, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in the additional amount of $9,450.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount $23,400.00 to $32,850.00. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.

15-0345 Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 of the Professional Services Contract between District and Trumpet Behavioral Health, Pleasanton, CA, for the latter to provide Insights to Behavior, a technology based program for providing professional development to all staff and individualized behavior support interventions to students with behavior challenges; program supports OUSD's adoption of Response to Intervention (RtI) as a multi-tiered framework for behavioral support and will be utilized with general education students presenting with behavioral challenges; focus will be to create capacity within District staff to better serve students in a consistent, timely manner, while reducing inequitable referral practices impacting African American students as well as high costs for student placements in non-public schools, in the additional amount of $150,000.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $400,000.00 to $550,000.00, for the period of July 1, 2014 through June 30, 1015 . All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
