15-0325 Approval by the Board of Education of Change Order No. 2 to Construction Contract with O.C. Jones & Sons, Inc., Oakland, CA, to provide additional excavation for the pad, because during excavation an existing underground culvert was found requiring additional rebar at curbs and slate in conjunction with the 955 High Street Paving Project in the additional amount of $56,621.00, increasing the Agreement from $628,319.00 to $684,940.00. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.

15-0095 Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Professional Services Contract between the District and Howard Feight, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide an additional 400 hours of service, increasing hours to a new total of 700 hours of service, in intervention strategies for K, 1st, and 2nd grade students by teaching student conflict resolution strategies, ways to resolve issues on the playground and ways to play on the playground, provide trainings and support the parents of the students in our Junior Coaches program, provide problem solving and conflict resolution strategies to parents at Chabot Elementary School, and extending the contract period of October 1, 2014 through December 19, 2014 to June 30, 2015, in an additional amount not to exceed $6,900.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $3,604 to $10,504.00. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
