I support postponing the Blueprint Cohort decision to Fall '22. Kids are finally getting back into the groove of being in school again after a year of being remote. The timing of this seems especially cruel. If it can wait until next year, that would certainly be better for students and teachers.

I support postponing the Blueprint Cohort decision to Fall 2022. Students are finally back in classes and things are closer to the "normal" we enjoyed before COVID. Closing schools is disruptive and disquieting for parents and students. This is not the time for shaking things up, we need to seek stability and order. You can use COVID funds to tide you over and keep this year stable without pending closures.
I hope you will also consider putting a hold on consolidations at school sites. I know that students do not always come in neat blocks at every school site, but now is not the time to push for changes that will cause anxiety and confusion at sites. School has been in for two months and the idea of uprooting some students and causing classroom changes, etc. is not part of having a stable, reliable start for our students--who deserve and need the stability that schools should offer.
