15-0563 Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 to the Individual Service Agreement to the Master Memorandum of Understanding (MMOU) between the District and East Bay Asian Youth Center, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide its Menu of Service Option G for Lead Agency Unit of Service for increased services for after school enrichment in the after school program at Oakland International High School, for the period of July 1, 2014 through August 21, 2015, in the additional amount of $13,596.00, increasing the ISA not to exceed amount from $228,238.00 to $241,834.00. All other terms and conditions of the ISA of the MMOU remain in full force and effect.

15-0658 Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Contract between the District and Be The Change Consulting, LLC, Oakland, CA, for the latter to build the capacity of the OUSD After School Programs Office and after school lead agency partners to sustain Building Intentional Communities Initiatives (BIC) strategies, practices, and curriculum into future years by providing a four-part train-the-trainer series for a core group of district staff and community partners; support the planning and implementing its first OUSD After School Lead Agency Request for Qualifications process and support district after school staff in writing the RFQ, developing the lead agency evaluation rubric, structuring the application review and scoring process, and training review team members; work closely with the OUSD After School Programs Office to align the Building Intentional Communities learning community with the youth development quality standards that guide the work of the after school programs for the period of November 3, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in the additional amount of $30,000.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $21,225.00 to $51,225.00. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.

15-0729 Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Contract between the District and Be The Change Consulting, LLC, Oakland, CA, for the latter to complete the Building Intentional Communities (BIC) arc of learning and development for the final two cohorts of elementary program sites who have been involved in the BIC professional learning community for the past two years; thirteen participating program sites will join twelve other elementary programs; twenty middle school programs, and fourteen high school programs in receiving intensive support and training to include eight monthly learning communities they will facilitate, BIC curriculum materials, twenty four hours/site of coaching support to integrate BIC strategies into after school programs, and four customized site-based trainings per participating program; agency will work closely with the OUSD After School Programs Office to align the Building Intentional Communities learning community with the youth development quality standards that guide the work of OUSD after school programs for the period of September 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in the additional amount of $121,175.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $51,225.00 to $172,400.00. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
