14-0340 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and National Equity Project, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide National Equity Project coaching support will be co-constructed with the principal and other leaders, but may include the following: Develop a vision and practice of formative assessment; collaborative to examine student work and other data; create or adopt instructional tools and interventions; develop instructional plans that meet student needs; strengthen instructional leadership (people and systems) in the school; and develop the school's system of collaboration and inquiry (PLC) and in addition to a 25 day Partnership for Learning service package, the National Equity Project will provide 10 additional days of coaching to support the further development of instructional practice at Elmhurst Community Preparatory Academy, for the period of August 26, 2013 through May 30, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $24,000.00.

14-0378 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and S&S Math Services, LLC, Oakland, CA, for the latter to facilitate the continuing development of a rigorous mathematics program, by development a rigorous mathematics program. Elements of this program will include: (1) deepening teacher content knowledge through ongoing instructional coaching and grade level meetings.
