I support the resolution to help the Yemeni students and their parents in having Arabic speaker at the enrollments staffs and hire more Arabic Speakers in school where many Yemenis and Arabic students in order have more helps and acknowledgment within the school and districts.

Yemeni/Muslim students do not feel represented culturally at OUSD; not in the content and material that is disseminated, nor in the annual cultural events/recognitions. *For example: Yemenis/Muslims celebrate two annual cultural festivals (Eid ul-fitr [which follows Ramadan] and Eid Al-adha). Historically, Yemeni/Muslim students would have to choose between their education and their culture/faith tradition. This Resolution will not force Yemeni/Muslims students to make that hard decision. It will allow their culture/faith tradition to be celebrated, just like many other communities.

All the Americans Muslims student deserve to half holiday off And they deserve to get all the Support from our government and the school district .......thank you
