V.-48 20-2262 Adoption by the Board of Education, as the Governing Authority of the Oakland Unified School District, of the Verification of Closure of Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) Programs; certifying that said Programs have been closed for in-person instruction due to a local or state public health order or guidance and by order of the Board since March 2020, due to COVID-19; that at some point the Board will discuss in a Public Hearing the ELC Program closure and will prepare a plan for safely reopening the ELC Program no later than when the District campuses reopens for in-person instruction; authorizes the President of the Board to execute said Verification on behalf of the Board, as required by CA SB 820 and Education Code Section 8209; and further authorize the Superintendent of Schools or designee to transmit said Verification to the California Department of Education forthwith.

All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
