15-0619 Principal Steven Daubenspeck, Thornhill Elementary School, will present an oral report on the success of Thornhill Elementary School in closing the achievement gap, particular in third grade. He will describe "How the "school-wide big rocks - writing, number talks, and a culture of mutual accountability - connected very clearly with Professional Development" of teachers connects to what is observed and delivered in classrooms. "The work is incredibly intentional and equity centered."
