15-0320 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Gary Yee, Ph.D., for the latter to provide transition support and advice to the new Superintendent; support and orientation to the District and the City of Oakland for the Superintendent and for senior leadership team members; strategy and planning advice for the Superintendent and for senior leadership team; regular one-to-one consultation with the Superintendent; continued training and orientation of the Board of Education, including new Board members; and representation at meetings related to the District, as designated and assigned by the Superintendent (e.g., post-secondary readiness initiatives, high school reform, Linked Learning, career academies and pathways), for the period of January 5, 2015 through June 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $40,000.00.
