14-1118 Approval by the Board of Education of a Memorandum of Understanding between the District and Alliance For A Healthier Generation, Washington, DC, for the latter to provide technical assistance to schools to improve nutrition, physical activity and staff wellness, recognize schools that meet the Healthy Schools Program Framework, broker local, state and national resources to support schools in implementing action plans, and provide support in aligning school policies and contracts to our beverage and snack food guidelines intended to provide access to healthier foods and beverages for the period of July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015, at no cost to the District.
