14-1030 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and People United for a Better Life In Oakland, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 1) Development of the program infrastructure for Castlemont High's small- scale farming, culinary arts training, field studies/natural resource stewardship, and fresh foods enterprise training programs; 2) Implementation of agricultural education, culinary arts, and farm-to-school enterprise training programs for 50 students in grades 9-12; and 3) Sustainable urban design field studies, career training, college preparation, and service-learning programs serving 75 9th-11th grade students, for the period of January 1, 2014 through June 13, 2014 in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00.
