14-0108 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Kristin Papania, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 706.15 hours of teacher coaching in differentiated ELD instruction for all K-5 LEP students; work alongside teachers in the classroom to demonstrate effective ELD techniques and strategies; lead professional development for teachers targeted at improving their effectiveness with LEP students; provide feedback to Instructional Leadership Team and to School Site Committee about English Learner student progress and effectiveness of school programs to speed the acquisition of English, at Sequoia Elementary School, for the period of December 17, 2013 through June 12, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $28,246.00.
