14-0105 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and S&S Math Services, LLC, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide individualized professional development to all teachers on a periodic basis providing whole staff professional development, resulting in K-5 teachers being able to consistently provide standards-based math lessons, use best practices in math instruction, as specified; review math data, in the form of benchmark tests, grade level assessments, and student work to inform their teaching; receive a grounding in common core standards and standards of mathematical practice, resulting in better student performance, as specified in the Scope of Work, at Thornhill Elementary School, for the period October 9, 2013 through June 30, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $6,982.50.
