14-0070 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Eva La, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide direct assistance to non-English speaking parents/guardians seeking information, assistance in navigation of District policies, available programs and available assistance to families in support of their child's academic achievement; assist non-English-speaking parents guardians and communicating with District departments and staff, teachers and administrators facilitation of community meetings of SSC and ELAC, providing direct assistance for non-English participants and assist the school site and provide direct assistance to non-English families at the annual Title I Meeting at Skyline High School, for the period October 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00.
