13-2829 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Dorothy Courtney, Oakland, CA, for the latter to 1) Train student managers in conflict resolution with a focus on anti-bullying strategies, develop schedule for Conflict Managers; supervise conflict managers; 2) Integrate Second Steps strategies into Conflict Resolution Program; 3) Collect and tally Second Step lessons taught by teachers and provide them to principal; and 4) Assist principal or designee in organizing student activities during recesses to minimize conflicts and discipline referrals at Madison Park (former Sobrante) School, for the period of September 3, 2013 through June 12, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $15,600.00.
