13-2693 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Ruvani Jayaweera, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide the following during her summer internship with the Family Schools and Community Partnerships Department at District: Research best practices around wellness policy development and implementation; Develop toolkits to support wellness policy implementation, nursing and school-based health center integration; Develop health-related outreach materials including data snapshots; Support department as needed, for the Family, Schools, Community Partnership Department, for the period of September 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $3,000.00.
