R.-4 26-2121 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2026-2027 by and between the District and Lorena A. Lara, Tulare, CA, for the latter to provide interim support for the Nutrition Services Menu Planning and Customized Allergy Responsive Eating Solutions (CARES) Program to ensure continuity of operations doing temporary staffing absence, including, coordinating menu planning activities, reviewing and supporting student meal accommodations, communicating with school sites, nurses, and Nutrition Services staff, maintaining compliance with USDA and California Department of Education regulations, supporting documentation and audit readiness, coordinating with the Central Production Kitchen, troubleshooting operational issues, assisting with weekly planning, providing staff training and guidance on CARES procedures, supporting onboarding and retraining as needed, and ensuring the safe, timely, and consistent delivery of meal accommodations for students with dietary needs; and provide recommendations to strengthen program efficiency, maintain compliance, and support uninterrupted, high-quality nutrition services throughout the duration of the engagement, via Nutrition Services Department, for the period of August 3, 2026 through June 30, 2027, in an amount not to exceed $47,500.00.
