As a longtime OUSD employee, Custodial Field Supervisor, and UAOS member, I urge the Board to prioritize fair compensation, safe working conditions, equitable workloads, and adequate resources for classified and certificated administrators.
With staffing reductions and increasing responsibilities, administrators are being asked to do more with less. Workloads must reflect school size, enrollment, employees supervised, multiple sites, and evaluation requirements.
We also need District-provided translation tools and training to communicate effectively, address safety concerns, and support our diverse school communities without relying on personal resources.
I respectfully ask the Board to support meaningful negotiations that recognize our contributions and establish fair, sustainable expectations.
