Measure H is a parcel tax earmarked for high school pathways and career technical education. Skyline has lost over $600,000 as a result of this sweep, funding that was thoughtfully planned and budgeted in alignment with the voter approved purpose of these measures. If the Board refuses to return these swept funds, the future of any parcel tax will be in doubt as opponents will point to this tactic to argue all such taxes are a slush fund for an irresponsible district. Renewals of G1 and G will fail as a result.
