R.-47 26-1894 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2026-2027 by and between the District and Consortium Critical Incident Training and Consulting, Bradenton, FL, for the latter to provide training focusing on establishing prevention-based active shooter programs, concentrating on preventing the act of violence before it occurs; provide techniques to reduce the students' and staff's risk and anxiety; focuses on recognizing and moving away from the violence and giving participants a plan of action, designed for certificated and classified TK-12 school employees, school administrators, and school board members who want to improve employee safety, reduce fear, and better prepare school staff to deal with an active assailant situation by raising awareness of pre-incident indicators and characteristics of active shooters, via Risk Management Department, for the period of August 3, 2026 through June 30, 2027 in an amount not to exceed $12,000.00.
