R.-19 26-1875 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by and between the District and Alameda Health System (AHS), to help meet the medical health, mental health education and youth development needs of students, and through partnering with other services providers on campuses to provide a holistic set of wrap-around services that remove barriers to learning and ensure increase access to care, through school-based health centers, the latter will provide the following services: 1. Dental screening and treatment 2. Health education for students and families 3. Outreach to youth and their families 4. Community-wide health promotion events and activities 5. Student referrals for services (at Frick Academy Wellness Center and alternate community clinics or community programs) at no cost to the District, students, or parents unless provided otherwise by this MOU, for the period August 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department.
