R.-8 26-1863 Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 3, Agreement for Inspector of Record Services for Construction by and between the District and King Construction Inspection, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide additional services as the certified DSA Inspector of Record to oversee the quality of the materials and construction compliance with Division of State Architect (DSA) requirements, as outlined in the Proposal dated July 1, 2026, which is attached to this Amendment as Exhibit A, at Horace Mann Elementary School, Oakland Academy of Knowledge, Madison Park Academy, Stonehurst Elementary School, and Laurel Child Development Center, in an additional total amount of $16,200.00, increasing Agreement's not-to-exceed amount from $101,936.56 to $118,136.56, and extending the term of the Agreement from May 29, 2025 through June 30, 2026 to October 30, 2026 (an additional 122 days). All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
