R.-39 26-1639 Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2026-2027 by and between the District and Bonita Bumblebee, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide after-school STEAM enrichment programming for Transitional Kindergarten (TKK) students at Glenview Elementary School, Prescott Elementary School, Brookfield Elementary School, East Oakland Pride Elementary School, and Lockwood STEAM Academy, providing hands-on, engaging STEAM learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through creative and interactive activities, with classes offered up to two days per week serving up to 10 students per class, reaching up to 200 students across participating school sites; and provide up to 500 hours of high-quality arts-integrated STEAM instruction and student engagement supporting students' creativity, problem-solving skills, collaboration, and exploration through project-based learning, via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of August 3, 2026 through June 30, 2027, in an amount not to exceed $204,000.00.
