I would like to understand how all of these medical and therapy agencies are contracted and understand a break down on the number of sped students receiving these specialized services, and how the students benefit. What funding sources are allocated to pay for all of these services. I have concerns about the amount of money listed, with no details as to the number of students needing these services. Way too many students IEP's have been out of compliance, for a long time, where students aren't receiving what they are entitled to. I sure hope that our students aren't being used in a way that reports they're getting various services (with money being paid to these agencies) when in fact, they're not. From personal experience, I know of students
who have been used by medical agencies to get money they weren't providing services for. Their needs to be more of a detailed report to justify all of this money paid to all of these agencies, and for what????
