R.-219 26-1454 Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Services Agreement by and between the District and County of Alameda, on behalf of its Health Department, San Leandro, CA, to continue to provide a range of services, including case management and mental health counseling; physical exams/sports physicals; diagnosis and treatment of minor illness. injury and medical conditions; STD screening and treatment. health education for students and families (e.g., nutrition/physical fitness; adolescent development; sexual health; dental screening and treatment youth development programs (e.g., peer health education. student research teams. youth advisory boards); professional development for school staff; outreach to youth and their families; communitywide health promotion events and activities; and referrals to health and social service providers on an off-site; 8 Alameda County Health will also contract with the OUSD Central Family Resource Center lead agency to coordinate health insurance enrollment and case management. and other support services available to all OUSD families (Exhibit A of Agreement), via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, in an additional amount of $535,000.00, increasing the not to exceed amount of Agreement, from $535,000.00 to $1,070,000.00, and extending the term of the Agreement from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2027. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
