O.-91 26-0975 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and Growing Together - Bay Area, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide outdoor, experiential lessons and hands-on, project-based learning opportunities science teachers to incorporate into their daily instruction; collaboratively design lessons to meet instructional goals and enhance the instructional strategies of science teachers; base content on Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and support academic and language development for English Learners and students experiencing low achievement in science courses; enhance curriculum and connect core standards in Biology and Chemistry to reinforce key learning outcomes and re-engaged students; provide 5 hours of direct services per week to support the development of experiential learning opportunities for two science teachers, reaching between 100 and 200 students at Madison Park Academy-Upper, for the period of March 30, 2026 through May 27, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00.
