O.-56 26-0898 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and Attitudinal Healing Connection, Inc., dba The Center for ArtEsteem, Oakland, CA, for the latter to create and execute a hands-on, visual arts curriculum that is standard based and high school appropriate for the duration of the Summer HAcK 2026 credit recovery program; supplement the curricula in the academic areas of Algebra, Biology, PE, History and English for OUSD's 9th-10th graders, with emphasis placed on projects that support the development of the elements of art, final project subject presentations, and SEL and mental well-being best practices; with students engaged in creative, project-based learning that enhances academic skills while exploring real-world problems and personal identity and wellness, including training, planning and meeting hours, as well as the final presentation event, via OPSR Counseling Department, for the period of May 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $27,060.00.
