I am writing again to ask why the board has not yet taken up the CDE findings about antisemitism in OUSD that is running rampant, and why you have not followed through with the mandated remedies by the deadline they gave our district. As staff and a parent of Jewish kids in the district, your inaction gives me no faith that you care about this issue and no trust that you will act to keep ALL kids safe and to fight against discrimination. I hear there may now even be a lawsuit for your failure to comply. Will this cost our district more $ when we are in a budget deficit? That could have been avoided had you followed through by the deadline on your mandates? Please train staff, have a meaningful/substantive conversation at board meeting, and send out memos as directed by the state ASAP.
