O.-21 25-2491 Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement by and between the District and Springboard Collaborative, LLC, for the latter to implement two 10-week Tier 2 reading intervention sessions - one during the Winter and one during the Spring - serving 30 students per session at each of four schools: Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary, Bella Vista Elementary, International Community School and Grass Valley Elementary and provide ancillary services, as further described in Exhibit A of the Agreement, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, for the term of November 17, 2025 through May 29, 2026, in the not to exceed amount of $151,440.00.

    Springboard represents the 10th different literacy program/entity that I have come across since I started looking at the issue. Numbers 11, 12 and 13 are found later in this agenda. I believe that the district can do better by our students with fewer programs that are better aligned with each other and in which staff are more thoroughly trained.
