I continue to be gratef ull for the superintendent in her new role and also happy to see that Jazz Band Performance as a highlight in the report. As the district has already taken 1 million away from arts and music education, our continued ask is that no more funding be taken from this source. It's critical especially for students in special education to be allowed this opportunity to grow in a way where this consistency can provide a way for them ti express and learn differently. As we've been fighting for more than a decade now for the reinforcement of love and respect, i also hope that the district is getting closer to banning hate speech al together.
