O.-11 25-2437 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and EliteGamingLIVE, Inc, Columbia, MD, for the latter to "provide: unlimited access to the Elite Gaming Live (EGL) Academy, an online learning platform where students can develop gaming skills, explore esports-related career pathways, and access year-round educational resources; Vendor will also offer unlimited weekly practice days, unlimited weekly EGL Game Day events with live-streamed professional commentary, and participation for up to 50 students per team at 18 school sites, across three seasons each academic year, serving up to 1,080 students per season. Each Game Day will feature an EGL broadcaster live-streamed into every event, providing professional commentary, enhancing the competitive atmosphere, and creating an engaging spectator experience for students and families. Participation will accommodate 18 total school sites, up to 50 students per team per season, with 3 seasons being offered throughout the course of the academic year. In all 1080 students will be served per season, equaling ensuring broad access and the ability to engage a diverse group of students, from casual gamers to highly competitive players. This includes unlimited access to the EGL Academy, an online learning hub where students can develop gaming skills, explore esports-related career pathways, and access educational resources year-round. Students will also have unlimited practice days, allowing them to train, refine strategies, and collaborate with teammates at their own pace. The program offers unlimited EGL Game Day events, where students can compete in structured matches that build teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship", via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of October 2, 2025 through June 30, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $108,000.00.
