O.-61 25-2055 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and Planting Justice, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide nutrition education that will enable students to test real-life nutritional situations; educate students in the Health Pathway on nutrition, the study of nutrients in food, how the body uses nutrients, and the relationship between diet, health, and disease; help students understand their health, while learning why what you eat is truly what you are, and how to properly lose weight, maintain a healthy weight, or gain weight; what foods are healthy and which foods are damaging, for 100-130 students at Dewey Academy, from September 1, 2025, through May 28, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00.
