O.-40 25-1998 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and Playworks, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide a full-time on-site coach to work with students during recess and class game time to teach students about cooperative play, turn-taking, fairness, direction-following, conflict resolution, and creative play; during recess lead games and be available for student consultation to help mediate conflicts; work with teachers during class game time in order to build the classroom teachers' skills in teaching physical education and promote community-building; run the Junior Coaches squad in which students will be taught to support others, gain leadership skills, and take on community responsibility by being helpers at recess time at Bridges Academy @Melrose, for the period of August 1, 2025 through July 31, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $65,000.00.
