I just saw a post that the board silenced the disability community, Stop the personal attacks against the parents and children who are suffering. Seeing the prior comment, I feel the same.... What if this was your child?????

I just saw a video of the board meeting that truly makes me upset. The Board President, the VP, THe Puppet, and the so called Disability liason votes to silence the voice of the disabled community????????? How could you amend the bylaws, stating that you're doing it in the best interest of the People, but treat our most disenfranchised and victims of this system, who are most vulnerable, you treat them this way, and Shame on you.

I upsets me, that Williams, Latta the President and VP Voted to not let the parents of the disability community speak.
i was on the meeting and you could've allowed them to speak, you are the same board members that made harmful actions already, but claim to care about the students in special education. change your bylaws to accomodate parents and attendees who sign up to speak on behalf of the students. I felt the mothers frustration, and I agree that comments should be read out loud for the record, especially since these students don't have a voice, and you're also skipping over the voices of parents, staff and caregivers who trying to speak up on their behalf. Vote for Righteouness.

Also, To add to the public comments, process, i have suggested before that e comments be read aloud into record to especially accomodate our students and adults who are non speaking. Their voices need to be heard, respected and Valued. I suggest somewhere within the amendments to the bylaws in regards to reading comments out loud be considered.
