please don't cut anymore music and arts funding, because it prevents our most fragile students who don't have a voice to learn expression, gain confidence and focus, and you're also stripping away the chance for them to develop skills in other areas. If this board really cared about those students who have suffered so much, and are still losing, you would give them a chance to better themselves through this funding source that's available in excess, you have to think about their well being and DO THE RIGHT THING!! Cutting these resources is an act of EVIL,HAVE A HEART!!!!

As we continue to wait for answers, my son has just turned another year old, and in his 5th year learning online. You must make all children a priorty, especially those in special education, and provide them with the specialized services that prop 28 music and arts education allows for. To have to get an assessment plan in place, and an IEP meeting, just to get the services he and all children should be entitled to, this has to change!! Too many students have been harmed by the districts actions of closing schools, and taking funding away, You HOLD the reponsibility in ensuring that our children recover from past traumas, and in our case, the suffering is longstanding and continues without services that will help him recover. the DIstrict must ACT NOW, as his life and so many lives are at stake!! just think, IF it was your CHILD, NO CHILD DESERVES this ONGOING ABUSE!!!!!
