L.-22 25-0099 Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2024-2025 by and between the District and Oakland Public Education Fund, Oakland, CA, for the latter to hire Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) Coaches to conduct one to one interventions with students, facilitate drug intervention groups with three to five students, participate in Coordination of Services Meetings for referrals, support with classroom presentations as requested to promote services, conduct school-wide outreach (e.g. tabling at a health fair), and attend all TUPE Coach meetings and trainings for caseloads of up to 10 per school, via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of January 1, 2025 through June 30, 2025, in an amount not to exceed $154,852.40.
