While I am very happy to see a calendar in advance, the dates are still out not great. Most other school districts are returning to school later in August. I'd rather see a later dismissal in June and later start in August. Summer camps don't start until second week of June at the earliest. That means many parents will have to scramble to find alternative care for weeks until summer camp starts for the rest of the surrounding districts.
Being able to plan in advance? yes please! Dates look fine.
