Last year, the board made it clear that developing a multi-year academic calendar was the plan. Yet, we only have this year’s calendar published. Can you commit to developing the 2025-2026 school year dates WELL BEFORE the end of December, when parents need to start enrolling in camps, and teachers need to start planning summer childcare for their children for our PD/work days? Please don’t delay this!
I would like to stay that I am a new contractor working with
SPAAT. Having worked in OUSD for 8+ years, this partnership that I’m helping cultivate with students, parents and SPAAT should not go unnoticed. Often times athletes do not get the support they need and having a private counselor can be expensive. This extra piece of support has been amazing. And it was my first year, I’ve supported so many students with their post secondary options. I would love to continue in the afterschool programs Now that I am rooted there. I think it will be nice to see what we can do this year and the numbers we can achieve. Bringing personal, academic and college coaching to students is not something I do not want to see stop for ourathletes.
