V.-33 21-3013 Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2021-2022 by and between the District and Mills College, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 130 hours of Social Emotion Learning of facilitation, coaching, and consulting services for the SEL Principal Community of Practice and SEL Lead Learner Inquiry Groups, where participants in each group will: 1) engage in monthly collaborative inquiry work sessions focused on a problem of practice; 2) receive individual support through monthly virtual coaching sessions; and, 3) be supported to identify and analyze real-time data to inform and influence their action-oriented, decision making process; meet with both principal and lead learner design partners on a monthly basis to reflect on progress and guide design of each group's inquiry work; for Librarians, provide 20 hours total of facilitation and coaching for the Library Leadership Team in order to: develop leadership team vision for professional learning this year; support the planning of and reflection on professional learning for the larger library staff; introduce and utilize digital tools to support data sharing and document inquiry; develop adult learning design and facilitation skills; and coach library leaders on presenting work publicly, via Academics and Instruction Department, for the period of September 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022, in an amount not to exceed $64,000.00.
