Stop! That resolution committed this district to stop harming Black students and families and to engage Black communities in the development and implementation of policies going forward. Moving forward with Cohort 3 will harm Black families with co-locations and consolidation of schools in majority Black schools, schools that have been under-resourced for many years. The board continues to invoke "equity" and "quality" to undermine equity and quality, and to impose plans without effectively engaging the families the targeted schools serve. Again, this blatantly violates the Reparations for Black Students Resolution this board recently passed. Stop!
