Agenda Item
M.-2 21-0949 Adoption by the Board of Education of Resolution No. 2021-0254 - Approving the District's Revised 2021-2022 Budget Reduction Options and Bridge Plan for the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Budget.
After looking at the attachments, I had a few questions: 1) Since the George Floyd Resolution savings and the Nutrition Services savings add up to $3.4 million dollars, why is the Bridge plan not reduced by that amount? 2) Is the 212 student ADA recovered by the district a one-time or ongoing recovery of funds? If one time, for which year? If ongoing, starting in which year? In either case, what is the net amount? Thank you for explaining these items.
Finally, I would like to comment that I feel it is progress (and a long time coming) that the letters to OUSD explicitly list income streams alongside reductions.
