OUSD/The Board and the Teachers Union did not include the Parents and Students when making the decision to use pass/no pass instead of allowing the Students and Parents to have a choice. Spring grades for 2020 were vital for students who are now seniors and applying for colleges and scholarships. Not all schools used pass or no pass many had choices. A 3.4 gpa verses a 3.5 or 3.7 makes a difference when it comes to which colleges and scholarships you can apply for. This was a decision that did not included the people most affected and no one asked them. I know this may not be the meeting to address this, but I have emailed and talked to the Teachers, counselors, Principal, Superintendent's office, financial aid and College platforms and got nowhere. So for the record you all did not included the people most affected the STUDENTS!!!
