20-1400 Adoption by the Board of Education of Resolution No. 1920-0264 - Salary Adjustment Effective July 1, 2020 For Unrepresented Employees, Confidential Employees, and Employees With Employment Contracts, as delineated herein, i.e., a 5% one-time off schedule increase and a 5% ongoing increase effective July 1, 2020.
Concern that Superintendent's contract was written by the Board entangling Superintendents pay raise in a me too 5% one time raise and 5% ongoing raise. Thus, hiding from the public the truth as to how much the Superintendent is making. So how much does this raise add to Superintendent's contract over the length of her contract? What is the separate cost of both the Superintendent and Unrepresented Employees on passing this agenda item. And, is the OUSD School Board going to keep this agenda item hidden from public view as part of early morning ZOOM meeting or is anyone on the Board in interest of transparency going to table these salary increases to a regular meeting of the Board?
