P1.-9 20-1317 Approval by the Board of Education of a General Services Agreement - Competitively Bid - between District and Metro Contract Group ("Consultant"), Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide delivery and furnish furniture for the new Fremont High School Building B and Gymnasium including Fitness Room, a total of 35 classrooms which includes the gym and flex space, science classrooms, skilled trade's fab lab, digital media, video control, audio control and recording studio, as fully described in the Notice to Bidders and the Fremont High School Building B Furniture Specification Package Addendum #2, dated May 28, 2020, which are attached to this Agreement as Exhibit A, aka as the Fremont High School Increments 3 & 4 Furniture Project, in the amount of $623,807.00, which includes a contingency of $20,000.00, as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and rejecting all other bids if any, and authorizing the President and Secretary of the Board to sign the Agreement for same with said bidder with the Agreement commencing on June 25, 2020, and terminating upon completion of the services but no later than October 23, 2020, a term of up to One Hundred Twenty (120) days.
