19-2639 Adoption by the Measure G Parcel Tax Independent Citizens Oversight Committee of its 2018-2019 Measure G Parcel Tax Independent Citizens Oversight Committee Annual Report.
Duty of Committee is to report on whether majority of Committee in its oversight is of the opinion that the Administration spent the Measure G proceeds according to the Measure. While the Report has examples of Measure G expenditures NOT authorized by the Measures language, the reader has to fish for Administrations misappropriations.
I feel this report language is too polite "Furthermore, it seems likely that funds previously spent on Class Size Reduction, were merely shifted to Basic School Support, another area that the Committee considers to be not one of Measure G’s intended uses."
CSR and Basic Support are two areas Administration misspent and the Report didn't clearly state that fact.
The Report states Administration added a new HR spending category HR operations to H.R recruitment that is not authorized by the Measure.
Report lacks a section devoted to listing unauthorized expenditures of Measure G proceeds. Board and public should not have to fish for those examples.
