P.-10 19-2544 Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the District and Citizen Schools, Redwood City, CA, for the latter to hire two additional staff members to provide instruction in English Language Arts and Mathematics; expand availability of after school program for an additional thirty students; create an Academy for 8th grade students to support them in fulfilling their promotion requirements, educate them regarding high school options process and graduation requirements; introduce students to a variety of college and career opportunities; provide excursions to Bay Area colleges and universities, for students in the after school program at Westlake Middle School, for the period of August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2020, in the additional amount of $55,476.00, increasing the MOU not to exceed amount from $78,987.00 to $134,463.00. All other terms and conditions of the MOU remain in full force and effect.
