P.-67 19-2288 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Luna Kids Dance, Inc., Berkeley, CA, for the latter to provide 30 weeks of 1 hour, dance classes on a weekly basis to 6 classrooms (3, 4 and 5th grades) over the course of the school year, attend collaborative planning meetings with classroom teachers, and support a showcase of student work at the end of the school year; 24 classes to the special day classes scheduled in six-week sessions fall and spring; professional development dance classes at their location to Emerson's teachers (inclusive of the program); develop school-specific pedagogy and sequence in which of standards based-dance instruction will be implemented; assist the school with dance space location and re-organization, as needed, at Emerson Elementary School, for the period of September 24, 2019 through May 28, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $22,620.00.
